There are so many variables it is difficult to provide exact costings as this depends on the size of the Spa, the mode, usage, the time of year and your tariff.  We only use the market leaders for our control systems who are extremely efficient and all our spas are fitted with skirt, base and shell insulation.

Can your hot tubs be used indoors?

Yes, they can all work indoors or outdoors. However, you’ll need to consider a number of issues if you’re planning to install your spa indoors, such as ventilation, waterproof flooring and drainage. Please contact us for advice before placing your order.

What do I need to prepare?

Before your hot tub is delivered, you’ll need to make the following preparations:

Installing an appropriate electrical supply for your hot tub. The product pages on this website list the maximum current for each spa. You’ll need to give this information to your electrician. Creating a solid base for the hot tub to rest on.

Can you install the electrics for my for my hot tub?

No, this is a job for your local electrician. Any qualified electrician should be able to install appropriate electricity supply. Please give them a copy of our Preparation Guide and they’ll know what to do.

What about plumbing?

Hot tubs don’t need a permanent water supply. They’re filled and drained using a hose pipe so you shouldn’t need to install any additional plumbing at your home.

If your chosen hot tub is in stock, we can deliver it in two to three days. If it isn’t in stock, delivery will take 8 to 10 weeks.

If you choose our delivery and positioning service, we’ll use a special spa dolly to roll your new hot tub into place. We’ll give you a call shortly after you’ve placed your order, to talk through any access problems before we deliver.

How much space will I need to accommodate a hot tub?

You’ll need an access space of between 1m and 1.2m, depending on your chosen hot tub. If you have less space than this, we may still be able to position your hot tub. We’ll call you shortly after you place your order to talk through any access problems before we deliver. In some cases, a crane will be needed to position the hot tub.

What happens if I need a crane to position my hot tub?

We can’t provide you with a crane but we can help you source one. Crane costs will vary from around £200 to £800, depending on factors such as the height of your house, the distance from kerbside to the hot tub’s final position, and the type of crane being used. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

How long have you been trading?

Direct Hot Tubs trading name of Combined Shipping Co Ltd started trading in November 2004, we are an employee owned business with over 18 years in the Industry of supplying and selling spas, we have the knowledge and experience to help you choose the right spa.

Why are your prices so low?

The problem isn’t that our prices are low – it’s that everyone else’s are expensive! For example, when you buy from one of the larger American dealers, you’re buying from a showroom which has bought from the UK distributor, who’s brought from a US distributor, who’s bought from the US manufacturer... There are so many links in the supply chain and so many margins to be added on.

Here at Direct Hot Tubs we source our hot tubs directly from the manufacturer and only sell online which reduces our overheads. As an ethically-minded business, we then pass these savings on to you.

Do you sell refurbished hot tubs?

Yes, occasionally. If we have any in stock, you’ll find them listed on our website.
