SAVE ENERGY & MONEY WITH A HEAT RETENTION COVER

What is a Heat Retention Cover?

Also described on some websites as a "thermal blanket." The Heat Retention Cover is an unsulating blanket that floats on top of your hot tub water. It cuts down on evaporation which reduces your energy usage and protects the lid of your spa.

How does it save me money?

We all like to save money where we can. The Heat Retention Cover does this for you in three ways...

1. Energy Saving - heat escapes through the process of evaporation. Steam rising from the water gets through the seams of your hot tub cover. Heat also travels much more easily through moist air than dry, so when you put dry air between your water surface and your hot tub lid you'll lose significantly less heat.

2. Lid Life - being a hot tub owner you will have surely noticed the buildup of water on the underside of your hot tub cover when you remove it. Gradually this moisture works its way through the cover causing it to become waterlogged and eventually needing replaced. These can cost upwards of £300 to replace.

3. Chemical Saving - as water and heat evaporates and becomes steam, it takes particles of your chemicals with it! The Heat Retention Cover prevents quite so much of your Chlorine and other chemicals from escaping, thus reducing your need to replace them so often. I'v

e seen thermal blankets on eBay and other sites for much less You have almost certainly seen what is also known as a "geobubble" thermal blanket. This looks a bit like bubble wrap! These are generally very poor. They will retain some heat, but they are designed for swimming pools not hot tubs. They will not be able to cope with the high temperatures and chemical concentration of a hot tub and will fall apart. Rather than saving you money, you'll have to buy a new one every year, and potentially replace your pump when dissolved pieces of thermal blanket get trapped inside it and cause it to burn out.

What makes the our Heat Retention Cover different? Put simply, ours are the best. They are 12mm thick, and are designed specifically to be used at hot tub temperatures.

Don't delay, buy a Heat Retention Cover and save yourself a fortune in the long run.
